My Home Is My Art...

I collect things! They find their way into rooms
in my cottage, and hardly ever leave.

A French Inspired Dining Room
The black (French circus) wallpaper inspired the decor throughout our home and was the basis for all the different colors on the walls. It sometimes overwhelms color-phobes but it thrills my bohemian and adventurous friends. I think it is very exciting to step in and experience this room. It changes with the seasons.
I Have a Paris Room
with memorabilia from a cherished visit to Paris
A Chinese Bathroom
with favorite Asian treasures-it has many tins!
A Texas Room
because I love Texas and live in Texas and because it has such a diverse, unique and interesting cultural history
A Geisha Master Bath
inspired when I read "Memoirs of a Geisha"
A Pink Room
that is unapologetically cottage, pink, aqua
and vintage, and where my girl-grandchildren
love to spend the night!
An English/French Inspired Library
It's small and cozy, and my family crowds in to celebrate Christmas, to discuss important issues, to visit together and to have a cup of tea.
A French Kitchen
Lime Green and Black with TV Trays from the 1950s, French posters, and lots of art
A Madonna & Child Guest Bath
Where "Rejoicing" is the theme
A Calm And Serene Blue Bedroom
A place to relax and escape after a long day
And My Personal Favorite...
A Very Eclectic Garden
Inspired by Monet's idea of planting a garden to paint. I have colorful fish everywhere, flowers planted in patterns, a wonderful blue toilette used as a planter, and china that I planted,
hoping it would reproduce!
It is like heaven to walk in my garden!
